We want our app to have a clean and simple design that is easy to navigate through. We are taking inspiration from pre existing shopping apps to find a layout that will be simple to use while still being interesting for the consumer. Bellow is a quick journey through what we have so far in the app.
Home page
For the homepage we have created a simple block design that will feature some popular or new collections to the site. This creates an easy way for the consumer to go directly to our new curated items and find something they like.
Account page
This account page still needs a lot of work and possible some icons to make finding what you are looking for easy. The account page is where you can find the clothes you are currently renting out (my wardrobe) and when the are due back. As well as where you can change a number of settings on you account.
Search
We have decided to combine the search and categories part of the app to make finding what you want easy. When clicking on the search icon on the bottom navigation bar you will find this page which has a search bar at the very top for a direct search and different categories running down the page for quick and easy browsing.
New In
This is a look at what the ‘new in’ page could look like. This would feature a number of new items to our site.
Item page
This is what the item pages look like. They have a large header image that you would be able to swipe over to see more images of the item. There is also the good on you rating which would be partnered with their app to allow for a consistent rating service, making it easy for the consumer to feel good about what they are purchasing.
Cozy knits
Back on the homepage if the user clicked on the cozy knits preview this is the page they would find a collection of all out warm knitted pieces. The layout is the same as the new in page, two columns with images of any shape cascading down.
Item 2
Here is another item page, this time showing how the hear looks when it has been clicked. It is a white outline at first (which may need to change as in some pages it is hard to see) and then becomes pink after being clicked.
My Likes
This is what the my likes page may look like, similar to the other pages that show items to have continuity.
